Senior Trips

This free program in partnership with the Hartland Rec Center is for residents aged 50+ to visit locations in the Upper Valley for shopping, amusement, and learning opportunities.  Connect with neighbors and travel to local attractions! 
Our first Senior Trip program is scheduled to visit Artistree on September 16th for a tour and Explorations in Color exhibition featuring contemporary works by talented Vermont pastel artists.  The Senior Trips bus departs from the Rec Center at 9:30AM.  Participants will need to RSVP on the Rec Center registration page for transportation.  Requests can also be made by calling (802) 436-2790 or email hartlandrecreation@gmail.com.

    The Aging in Hartland Speaker Series is scheduled on the 3rd Friday of the month at 4PM at the Hartland Public Library. 
    Medical Aid in Dying and End-of-Life Choice in Vermont

    Description: The program provides an opportunity to ask questions, learn, and share stories. 
    The Patient Choices Vermont presentation is designed to help attendees become better informed and empowered to make medical end-of-life decisions, including access to medication that can be used to bring about a peaceful death.

      The Efficiency Vermont presentation is designed to help attendees learn how to Button Up your home to stay comfortable and save energy during the cold months ahead. Discover where homes commonly lose energy, simple DIY weatherization improvements that can increase comfort, and learn about the programs, rebates, financing options, and other resources available to help you get started with weatherization.
